About me and my therapy practice
DIGITAL/ONLINE THERAPY SERVICE ONLY
I am a licensed and registered female psychotherapist with 28 years of clinical experience, primarily based in the UK. My professional practice encompasses a broad spectrum of psychological concerns, including but not limited to stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, loss and bereavement, neurodevelopmental conditions (such as autism and ADHD), menopause, chronic health conditions (including MS, chronic fatigue syndrome, and fibromyalgia), substance dependencies, adoption and foster care, self-esteem and body image issues, childhood abuse and trauma, PTSD, disordered eating, and the psychological impact of war, displacement, and incarceration.
My international experience spans the UK, Middle East, and USA, affording me a nuanced understanding of cultural and contextual factors in mental health.
For over two decades, I have specialised in child, adolescent, and family mental health, delivering care across both outpatient and inpatient settings. In addition to my extensive work with young people and families, I manage a global independent private practice, providing therapeutic services to adults and couples through secure digital platforms.
I am an author of published works in the field of child and adolescent mental health and a recipient of the National Mental Health Award (UK).
My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing on evidence-based modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and systemic therapy, for which I am fully trained and certified.
As a therapist of colour I am committed to anti-oppressive practice and have a particular interest in supporting clients navigating the complexities of identity, discrimination, and intersectionality in various environments. I work across the lifespan covering all ages 18+.

My first session
I have over 10 years of experience in remote therapy, utilising email, telephone, and video consultations to facilitate access to care. I recognize that engaging in therapy remotely may initially feel unfamiliar; however, I am dedicated to fostering a safe, non-judgmental therapeutic environment, and clients consistently report increasing comfort and openness as our work progresses.
I do not charge for the first session (30 minutes), lets meet, have a chat and take it from there.
