About me and my therapy practice
As integrative counsellor, I will tailor my approach to your individual needs. At the heart of my practice is the belief that healing happens in connection. I offer a warm therapeutic relationship grounded in honesty, respect, and genuine presence. Whatever you choose to bring into the therapy room we will explore together with curiosity and compassion. Rather than focusing on "fixing" or changing what you feel, my approach centres on learning to be alongside your experiences - understanding them, giving them space, and allowing them to reveal what they need to. I believe that as we get to know ourselves more fully, greater awareness naturally leads to greater choice. And with choice comes the possibility for meaningful and lasting change. In our work together, we will gently explore your inner world, your patterns, and the stories that have shaped you. This is a collaborative journey of self-discovery, and we will move at a pace that feels right for you, paying attention to where this deeper understanding may lead.
Practice description
My work focuses on creating a safe, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can explore what you are experiencing, make sense of your experience and feel more connected, both to yourself and to others.
Throughout my career I have worked in a variety of counselling settings, supporting clients with a wide range of challenges. These include anxiety, panic attacks, depression, low self esteem, Imposter syndrome, bereavement, domestic abuse, sexual abuse, relationship issues, loneliness, discrimination and prejudice, loss of meaning of life, family estrangement, life transitions. My practice is trauma informed.
My work with women in charity setting has given me insight into many challenges women can experience throughout different stages of their lives, from identity shifts during motherhood and menopause to the emotional upheaval of divorce and the impact of childhood experiences. I am passionate about women's well-being and strive to support them in reconnecting with their sense of self and belonging during these transformative and often uncertain times.
