About me and my therapy practice

Hey, I鈥檓 Tina,

I'm a psychotherapist and mindfulness coach passionate about helping individuals cultivate a strong sense of self and build meaningful, healthy connections in a world that often feels uncertain.

I work with people who have learned to tune in to the emotions, expectations, and needs of everyone around them before they ever truly learned to attune to themselves.

If you鈥檝e found yourself repeating patterns, people-pleasing, putting yourself last, or struggling to understand why certain cycles keep causing you pain, I want to help you break those patterns and create something different.

We all have blind spots, and there鈥檚 absolutely nothing wrong with needing support to recognise them.

I don鈥檛 believe in quick fixes. Instead, I鈥檒l help you find ways to make life feel more manageable right now, while gently exploring and understanding the deeper roots of what may have been making life feel so difficult.

You don鈥檛 have to figure it all out alone.

Practice description

A Window into How I Work:

Welcome to Inner Crown therapy. Sometimes you know exactly why you鈥檙e coming to therapy. Something has happened; you can see it clearly. It hurts, and you know you need some time, care and space to process what has happened.

But sometimes, it isn鈥檛 one big thing. It鈥檚 the accumulation of little things - what was said, what wasn鈥檛 said, what you had to tolerate, the expectations placed on you, the times you put yourself last, or the ways you learned to survive and keep going.

Each experience might not have felt 鈥big enough鈥 to warrant attention. But over time, they begin to deplete you, and one day you may find yourself thinking, 鈥淲hy am I struggling so much? Why does life feel this hard? What is wrong with me?鈥

Know there is nothing wrong; you may just need some help to find You again.

Together, we can gently begin to explore what鈥檚 underneath those feelings and patterns. We can start separating what genuinely reflects who you are, your values, needs, hopes and desires, from the thoughts, behaviours and responses that may have developed from fear. Fear of rejection, abandonment, failure, judgement, disappointing others, being 鈥渢oo much,鈥 or never being 鈥渆nough,鈥. Or perhaps something else entirely.

We don鈥檛 have to know the answer straight away. We just need enough safety, honesty and curiosity to begin looking.

Inner Crown was born from both my personal healing and professional calling, to help individuals turn pain into strength, clarity, and self-compassion. It is a space where you can reconnect with yourself, heal past wounds, and cultivate relationships that are authentic and nourishing. If you are seeking guidance, healing, or a deeper connection to yourself and others, I would be honoured to walk alongside you. Together, we can create a life rooted in love, resilience, and inner light.

Welcome to Inner Crown. I鈥檓 so glad you鈥檙e here.

My first session

I offer a free 50-minute initial consultation before we begin therapy.

It鈥檚 simply an opportunity for us to have a conversation, talk a little about what has brought you to therapy, what you鈥檙e hoping for, and whether I feel like the right therapist for you.

There鈥檚 no pressure or expectation to commit.

How I Work

I鈥檓 warm, relational and emotionally present. I鈥檓 not very formal; I鈥檓 professional, but I鈥檓 also human.

I want therapy to feel like a genuine conversation with someone who can sit alongside you through the painful, tender, confusing, messy and complicated parts of being human - without judgement.

My approach is integrative, trauma-informed and neurodivergence-informed, which means I draw from different therapeutic approaches depending on what you bring into the room.

We might explore your past and how it continues to influence your present. We might look at your relationships, your patterns, your nervous system, your emotions, your beliefs, or the parts of you that have worked incredibly hard to protect you.

There isn鈥檛 a one-size-fits-all approach.

My role is to walk alongside you, help you make sense of what you鈥檙e experiencing, and create a safe enough space for you to explore the parts of yourself that may have been difficult to understand or hear.

The Aim

Therapy is about helping you understand yourself more clearly.

  • To relate to yourself with greater compassion.
  • To recognise the patterns that no longer serve you.
  • To trust your own voice.

And, over time, to begin making choices that feel more authentically yours
