About me and my therapy practice
Still saying "I'm fine" when you're really not? "Just keep going" got you this far, but lately something's shifted and it's costing more than anyone realises.
Maybe you're managing on the outside while struggling underneath, or the same patterns keep repeating and you're not sure why.
I'm an integrative therapist. I draw on CBT, Transactional Analysis and other approaches, and tailor the work to you rather than offering a one-size-fits-all fix.
I offer both short-term support and longer-term therapy, with a particular focus on neurodivergent adults and people facing anxiety, depression, and relationship or family difficulties.
You don't need the right words to begin. In our first session we'll gently explore what's brought you here and what you need from therapy.
If you'd like a free, no-pressure chat first to see if we're the right fit, I'd be glad to hear from you.
Practice description
Two welcoming spaces: House Seven in Tynemouth and The Grainger Suite in Gosforth — both calm, private and relaxed, the kind of place it feels easier to talk openly.
Both are close to the metro (House Seven a short walk from Tynemouth; The Grainger Suite near Regent Centre), so they're easy to reach from across Newcastle and North Tyneside.
Prefer to stay home? I also work online across the UK.
People come to me with anxiety, stress and burnout, low mood and self-esteem, depression, relationship difficulties, bereavement and anticipated grief, and childhood or developmental trauma.
My first session
It starts with a free, no-obligation call. A chance to get to know me, ask anything, and decide whether I feel like the right fit — finding someone you're comfortable with matters.
In our first session, I'll listen to what's brought you here and what you're hoping for, and together we'll shape an approach that suits you.
We'll keep it practical too — how often we meet, session length, and whether you'd prefer face-to-face or online. Sessions are typically 50 minutes.
There's no pressure to have it all worked out. We'll go at your pace, building a picture of what's going on so the therapy fits you — not the other way round.
What I can help with
ADD / ADHD, Anger management, Anxiety, Autism spectrum, Bereavement, Depression, Identity issues, Loss, Men's issues, Neurodiversity, Pet bereavement, Relationships, Self esteem, Stress, Trauma, Work related issues

CBT, Integrative, Interpersonal, Person centred, Transactional analysis
