About me and my therapy practice
The psychodynamic approach is based on the understanding that our experiences, relationships and ways of coping shape the way we experience ourselves, others and the world around us. Therapy offers an opportunity to explore these patterns together, helping you make sense of thoughts, feelings and behaviours that may previously have felt confusing or overwhelming. This deeper understanding can open up new possibilities for relating to yourself and others.
Practice description
I trained at the University of Oxford, where I completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling and am currently undertaking a research MSt. I previously studied Psychology, Sociology and Philosophy at undergraduate level with the Open University.
My clinical work is grounded in Psychodynamic theory, with attention to unconscious processes, relational patterns and emotional experience.
My first session
Sessions last 50 minutes and usually take place at the same time each week. Rather than offering advice or quick solutions, my role is to provide a safe, thoughtful space where we can explore your experiences together. There is no expectation for you to know where to begin. Together, we'll make sense of how your history may be shaping your present, helping you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and the patterns that may be affecting you today.

About me and my therapy practice
Beginning therapy can bring up all sorts of feelings, and it's understandable if you're unsure where to start. Together, we can create a space where you can slow down, feel heard, and begin to understand yourself with curiosity rather than judgement.
My Approach
The psychodynamic approach is based on the understanding that our experiences, relationships and ways of coping shape the way we experience ourselves, others and the world around us. Therapy offers an opportunity to explore these patterns together, helping you make sense of thoughts, feelings and behaviours that may previously have felt confusing or overwhelming. This deeper understanding can open up new possibilities for relating to yourself and others.
Practice description
When you book a 15-minute introductory call you can ask any questions you may have, find out how therapy works, and discuss practicalities such as availability and fees. There's no expectation for you to tell me your whole story, the call is simply an opportunity for us to meet and decide whether working together feels right. If we decide to work together, we'll arrange regular weekly sessions.
Some people come to therapy with a specific focus and choose to work together for an agreed period of time, for example 12 weeks. Others prefer open-ended therapy, allowing the work to unfold over a longer period. Together, we'll decide what feels most appropriate for you and review this as we go.

About me and my therapy practice
Dating Apps, Relationships & Intimacy
Dating and relationships can bring up all sorts of feelings. You may find yourself repeatedly drawn to similar people, becoming preoccupied with a match or a message, struggling with rejection or ghosting, or wondering why dating seems to affect how you feel about yourself.
Perhaps you keep deleting the apps only to find yourself returning to them. You may feel overwhelmed by choice, find that connections rarely seem to develop into something more, or notice that when intimacy does become possible, something seems to get in the way.
Sometimes experiences that seem relatively small on the surface can stir up feelings that are harder to understand.
Alongside my clinical work, my postgraduate research at the University of Oxford explores how psychodynamic therapists work with clients who are navigating dating apps.
You don't need to come to therapy knowing exactly what you want to explore. We can begin with what is happening for you now and see where our thinking takes us.
Practice description
I am a psychodynamic therapist, which means that rather than offering advice about how you should date or what you should do differently, we can slow things down and think together about what is happening for you.
Together, we'll become curious about patterns in your relationships and how your past experiences may be influencing the way you experience yourself and others today.
Sessions last 50 minutes and usually take place at the same time each week. There is no expectation for you to know where to begin. My role is to offer a thoughtful space where we can explore your experiences together.
I offer both in-person therapy from my practice in Whiteley and online therapy throughout the UK.

I offer a free 15-minute introductory call before we begin. You can ask any questions you may have, find out how therapy works, and discuss practicalities such as availability and fees.
There's no expectation for you to tell me your whole story. The call is simply an opportunity for us to meet and decide whether working together feels right.
If we decide to work together, we'll arrange regular weekly sessions and begin from wherever you are.
