About me and my therapy practice
Whether it’s your first experience of receiving counselling or you have accessed multiple clinical support services previously, I understand this step can feel challenging and I want to make this process as comfortable as possible.
I have a wealth of experience working with adults as a therapeutic support worker as well as counselling adults within education, voluntary sector and private practice. I currently run my private practice from Earlswood, Solihull where I offer counselling to adult’s, whilst also counselling young people part time at the Young Gloucestershire Charity.
My style of counselling is integrative, allowing me to draw on multiple psychological theories and techniques to enhance your therapy experience. The core of my service is focused on providing an authentic, non-judgemental and empathic space where together we can explore your world to help you gain greater clarity, self compassion and forward momentum for change and improved wellbeing.
We may look at the impacts of your past, present or perceived future and the ways in which you may have adapted in life to exist. Are these adaptions still working for you?! I may draw on mindfulness, experimental practice, creative interventions or be informed by cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).
I hold a strong belief that given suitable conditions, you can become your own expert. Your experiences may include anxiety, stress, low mood, bereavement, grief, relationship breakdown, low self worth, cultural / religious challenges or you could be in the process of a diagnosis for health, personality or neurodiversity. These are just some areas of distress that I have worked with.

Practice description
The clinic is in Earlswood, Solihull and the therapy room is within a relaxed and calming farmhouse building, 5 minutes walk from Earlswood Lakes. Parking is free and the surroundings are tranquil and comforting. Tri Wellness is the base within Solihull and on the border of Warwickshire and easily accessible from the M40 and M42.
I offer open ended in person sessions but I appreciate this may not work for all and subject to accessed suitability, online or phone therapy are also available options.
My first session
I offer a free initial 20 minute consultation call to help establish if the support could be the right fit for yourself.
The first session will then allow us time to go through the counselling agreement and begin to find out a little more. This may include discussing what you would like to explore in counselling and what you would like to achieve by doing this.
Each session is 50 minutes.
