About me and my therapy practice

My approach is integrative, meaning I draw from a range of therapeutic models—including person-centred, cognitive behavioural, and psychodynamic approaches—to provide personalised care that reflects each client's unique needs. I work holistically, recognising the connection between mind, body, and spirit, and I create a safe, respectful space for individuals to explore their experiences at their own pace.

As a practising pastor as well as a therapist, I also work sensitively with clients for whom faith and spirituality are important aspects of their identity. I offer faith-informed therapy for those who wish to integrate their beliefs into the counselling process, while always respecting the values and worldviews of each individual, regardless of religious affiliation or none.

Clients come to me for support with a wide range of issues, including:

Anxiety and stress

Depression and low mood

Bereavement and loss

Trauma and unresolved emotional pain

Self-esteem and identity

Life transitions and relationship difficulties

Faith-related questions and spiritual crisis

I am passionate about walking alongside people in their journey toward healing, clarity, and growth. Whether you are facing a particular difficulty or seeking space for personal development, I offer a warm, empathetic, and confidential environment where your voice can be heard and your story honoured.

Practice description

I provide online counselling in a confidential, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. My practice is grounded in respect, empathy, and professionalism, and I am committed to supporting each person on their journey toward healing, clarity, and personal growth.

As an integrative therapist, I tailor my approach to suit the individual needs of each client. I draw from a range of evidence-based models including person-centred, cognitive behavioural, and psychodynamic therapies. For clients who value a spiritual or faith-based perspective, I offer the option of faith-informed therapy, integrating psychological insight with spiritual understanding in a respectful and collaborative manner.

I work with adults facing a wide range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, low self-esteem, emotional distress, life transitions, and issues related to identity, purpose, and spirituality. My approach is relational, meaning I place great importance on the quality of the therapeutic relationship and the trust built within it.

All sessions are conducted online via secure video platforms, making therapy accessible and flexible. Clients can expect a warm and professional space in which they are listened to with care and treated with dignity.

I offer both short-term and long-term counselling, depending on your needs and goals. In our initial session, we will explore what brings you to therapy and how we might work together. My aim is to support you in discovering your strengths, making sense of your experiences, and moving toward greater well-being and self-awareness.

My first session

I offer a free, no-obligation 15-minute online consultation to help you decide whether I am the right therapist for you. This is an opportunity for you to ask questions, share what brings you to therapy, and explore how we might work together. There is no pressure to commit at this stage—this conversation is simply a space for you to gain clarity and confidence before beginning therapy.

If you choose to proceed, our first full session will last 50 minutes and will focus on getting to know you and understanding the issues you would like to explore in therapy. We will discuss what has brought you to counselling at this time, your goals for therapy, and any previous experiences with support or mental health services. This session also allows you to become familiar with my therapeutic style and ask any questions about the process.

I may ask you to complete a short intake form before or after the first session, which helps me to understand your background, current challenges, and any relevant health information. All information shared is treated in strict confidence and in line with ethical and professional standards.

The first full session is charged at the standard session rate. All sessions are conducted online via secure video conferencing.

My aim is to create a welcoming and safe space from the very beginning, where you feel heard, respected, and supported. Whether you are new to therapy or returning to it, I will guide you through the process with care and professionalism.
