About me and my therapy practice
Everyday life doesn't have to feel like survival. Whether you’re suffering with anxiety, low mood, anger, low self-esteem or difficulties in your personal relationships, therapy can be a space to understand what’s going on beneath the surface. My Psychodynamic approach helps you to make sense of your life experiences and how they influence the way you think, feel, and respond in the present. We’ll work together to process difficult thoughts and feelings, identify patterns and behaviours that may be holding you back, and bring forth positive self-development and change.
I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can feel safe to explore whatever’s on your mind and be understood. I have experience with a range of concerns including complex trauma, anxiety, bereavement, burn out, chronic illness, depression, carers wellbeing, and identity.
I'm particularly experienced in working with individuals with a late diagnoses of Autism and / or ADHD who want to understand what this means for them and their everyday life. For example, the pressures of masking, how this contributes to frequent burn out, and how to navigate the world in a way that suits your needs.
Practice description
I work on a long-term, open-ended basis - meaning we’ll go at your pace, and end when you feel ready. Sessions are 50-minutes each, once a week. I'm available for in person and remote work to fit around your life.
No matter what brought you here today, get in touch to learn more about how I can help you!
±«ÓãÊÓƵregistered, with a background in crisis de-escalation and mental health recovery. I hold a diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling and a BSc in Psychology.
My first session
I offer a 40-minute telephone consultation to learn about why you're interested in therapy and what you would like to get out of your sessions. This initial contact will also offer you the opportunity to get a sense of me, my style of work, and whether you feel we will work well together. I will answer any questions you have, and if you decide you'd like to continue, we can begin arranging your first session.
The cost of a telephone consultation is £40.
