About me and my therapy practice
I'm an integrative counsellor, which means I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to suit your unique needs. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all method—therapy with me is collaborative, flexible, and tailored to you.
Whether you're an individual, couple, or part of a polycule, I provide a safe, inclusive space to explore what’s going on beneath the surface. My work is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and honesty. I specialise in issues related to addiction, attachment, and relationships—but no topic is off-limits.
I offer both face-to-face sessions and online therapy, depending on what works best for you. We’ll work at your pace, in a way that feels manageable and meaningful. Sometimes that means digging into the past to understand patterns; other times it’s about building practical tools for the here and now.
Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you—it’s about helping you understand yourself, reconnect, and move forward in a way that feels more aligned and empowered.
Practice description
A collaborative space
Therapy with me is a team effort. You bring your lived experience, and I bring my training, curiosity, and care. Together, we’ll make sense of what’s happening and figure out what you need to feel more grounded, connected, or in control.
No jargon, no judgement
I speak like a human, not a textbook. You won’t be met with clinical detachment or psychobabble—just real conversation, honest reflections, and support that makes sense in the real world.
Tailored support
Because I’m integrative, I don’t stick to one rigid model. I’ll adapt our work to fit you. That might include practical tools, deeper emotional work, creative exercises, or gentle challenges—whatever feels most helpful at the time.
Inclusive, affirming care
I work with people of all backgrounds, identities, and relationship structures. As a queer practitioner, I offer an actively affirming space where your full self is welcome.
Real talk and real progress
This isn’t about quick fixes or toxic positivity. It's about sustainable change, messy growth, and finding clarity even when things feel chaotic. I’ll show up with care, humour, and the occasional well-placed f-bomb if it helps.
My first session
The first session is all about getting to know each other. You don’t need to prepare anything or have the “right” words—just come as you are.
We’ll spend some time exploring what’s brought you to therapy and what you’re hoping to get from it. I’ll ask a few gentle questions to help us map out your world—your relationships, your challenges, your strengths—but there’s no pressure to share anything you’re not ready to.
You’ll also have space to ask me anything: about how I work, what therapy might look like, or how we’d approach specific issues.
By the end of the session, we’ll get a sense of whether we’re a good fit and how we might move forward together. There’s no obligation to commit to ongoing sessions straight away—you can take your time to decide.
