About me and my therapy practice

Sometimes life feels overwhelming.  Even the smallest thing can leave us feeling lost, anxious, empty, or unsure of who we are or where we're going. You might find yourself asking, “How did I end up here?” or “This wasn’t how life was supposed to be.” These moments can be confusing and painful—but they can also be the beginning of real change.

I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor, and my role is to walk alongside you, at your pace, seeing your world as you see it. I aim to create a space where you feel accepted, valued, and truly understood—with care, compassion, and respect at the heart of our work. Because everyone’s story is unique, I adapt my approach to meet your individual needs. And when words are hard to find, I offer creative tools to help you express what’s going on inside.

In my couples work, I focus on helping you deepen self-awareness and improve communication. Whether you're hoping to reconnect, find clarity about the future of your relationship, or navigate a respectful ending, our work together is guided by where you are and what you need.

Counselling offers a safe, supportive space to explore your inner world and gain a clearer understanding of yourself and your patterns. We’ll go at your pace, gently uncovering what’s beneath the surface—those unconscious beliefs and behaviours that may no longer serve you. I’m especially interested in how the mind tries to protect us, even when it leads us in difficult directions. When helpful, I incorporate psychoeducation into our work, as understanding can be the first step toward compassion—for yourself and for others.

I work with both individuals and couples, offering a space for exploration, healing, and growth—wherever you are on your journey.

Alongside my private practice I volunteer for two charities: addiction and sexual abuse.  I feel honoured to work in these fields as clients find a new way foward.
