About me and my therapy practice
±«ÓãÊÓƵ
I support women through emotional challenges, self-doubt, and major life transitions.
My journey into therapy began with my own lived experiences. Like many of the women I now work with, I know what it’s like to carry quiet overwhelm beneath a strong exterior. That personal insight, combined with my professional training, shapes the way I work which is with empathy, honesty, and deep respect for your individual story.
I specialise in supporting women from faith-informed and culturally diverse backgrounds who may be feeling burned out, emotionally disconnected, or unsure of who they are becoming. If you’ve been feeling unheard or lost in the demands of life, you’re not alone and you don’t have to navigate it alone.
My approach
I work using the Humanistic person-centred model of Psychotherapy, which means I work with the all parts of you. I take time to listen and understand your world, and we move at a pace that feels right for you. If your beliefs or spirituality are important to you, they are welcome in our work together.
I’ve supported clients in private practice, schools, mental health services, and community organisations.
No matter the setting, my aim is the same: to provide a safe, non-judgemental space where you can pause, reflect, and reconnect with your sense of self.
Practice description
±«ÓãÊÓƵ
I work with high-functioning, introspective women particularly those from culturally diverse backgrounds who feel emotionally stuck, overwhelmed by expectations, or disconnected from their sense of self.
Many of my clients are professionals, who have spent years meeting external expectations, often at the cost of their inner well-being. They come to therapy feeling emotionally exhausted, spiritually unanchored, and unsure how to honour their needs without guilt or shame.
In our work together, we explore how cultural, religious, and personal histories shape your self-worth, boundaries, and relationships. Using a blend of emotional resilience tools and faith-integrated insight (when invited), I can help you untangle the quiet pressures you carry and rebuild a life that feels emotionally safe, spiritually aligned, and unapologetically yours.
My first session
I will ensure your needs are met by going through a professional contract, explaining this to you according to the ±«ÓãÊÓƵethical framework.
I will also complete some assessments with you to gauge your well-being levels - these are known as GAD-7 and PHQ -9. We will work through this together.
