About me and my therapy practice

I’m an experienced counsellor, offering a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can share and explore at your own pace. I aim to create a sense of safety and trust, so that you feel supported in whatever you bring.

I work with individual adults, both in-person and online, from a calm and welcoming space between Waterloo and Elephant & Castle. I welcome people from all walks of life, and have particular experience working with LGBTQ+ clients, and with those navigating grief, loss and bereavement. Many of the people I work with are living with anxiety, depression, or the effects of trauma. I also have specialist experience in the impact of adoption – supporting adult adoptees, adoptive parents and birth family members.

Practice description

My training is in integrative counselling, which means I can adapt my approach to suit your needs. If you’re feeling stuck, anxious or dissatisfied, we might explore how earlier experiences are shaping your life now. If you’re facing a more specific challenge, we can take a more focused and practical approach.

Sessions last 50 minutes and take place weekly, at the same time each week.

My first session

I don’t charge for our first session. It’s a chance for us both to get a sense of whether working together feels like the right fit. You can share a little about what’s bringing you to therapy, ask any questions, and hear more about how I work. I’ll also be thinking about whether I’m the best person to support you. There’s no obligation to continue — the session is simply an opportunity to explore.

What I can help with

Abuse, Adoption, AIDS/HIV, Anger management, Anxiety, Bereavement, Cancer, Child related issues, Cultural issues, Depression, Health related issues, Identity issues, Infertility, LGBTQ+ counselling, Loss, Men's issues, Post-traumatic stress, Pregnancy related issues, Redundancy, Relationships, Self esteem, Sex-related issues, Sexual identity, Sexuality, Spirituality, Stress, Trauma, Work related issues
