About me and my therapy practice

Modern life comes with many difficult challenges and can often be overwhelming. We are often bombarded with mixed messaging about who we are meant to be and what will make us happy. You may be experiencing stress and confusion or are feeling lost in life. Perhaps you feel low in confidence, self-esteem or are feeling anxious or depressed. Or maybe you feel that certain habits have taken control of you and are damaging your quality of life. I believe that deep and lasting change is always possible no matter the circumstances.

Hi I'm Jack Bellamy, Psychotherapist and life coach. Welcome to my practice. I primarily work with men and specialise in the following areas:

-Anxiety, stress, and low mood

-Relationships Issues, loneliness and isolation

-Porn addiction

-intense emotions such as stress and anger

-Low self-esteem and low self-confidence

-Technology related addictions (Smartphone, social media, internet, gaming)

-ADHD, autism and neurodiversity

My journey into psychotherapy began as a client and I have experienced first-hand that real change can be achieved in an empathetic and non-judgmental space. As an integrative psychotherapist with a strong foundation in psychology and over a decade of experience in both the professional and academic spheres, I am here to help you confront your challenges and support you on the path to meaningful, lasting change.

Whether you are looking to change unhelpful patterns of thought and behaviour, navigate relationship difficulties, examine how past experiences and the unconscious are affecting your current life or just need a safe space to explore your issues, I invite you to take the first step towards lasting change and growth.

Practice description

I work online via Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet. Online therapy provides a convenient and flexible way to access mental health support from the comfort of your own home. Confidentiality is of the upmost importance to successful psychotherapy, so I do ask you are in a private and secure space before we can begin each session.

Sessions are 50 minutes in length, and take place on a weekly basis.

My first session

I understand that starting therapy can be a daunting and confusing process. This is why I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation where we can discuss what brings you to therapy and any other details about your life that you feel are important to share. It's also a chance to ask any questions you may have for me. This usually takes place over the phone, but can take place over Zoom, Teams or Google Meet if you prefer.
