About me and my therapy practice
I offer a calm, compassionate space where you can be fully yourself. My approach is relational and collaborative, meaning we work together to explore what’s going on for you, at your pace. I won’t sit in silence and nod, I’m engaged, gently challenging when needed, and always rooting for your growth.
I integrate a range of approaches, including psychodynamic, somatic, trauma-informed, and inner child work, depending on what best suits you. I’m particularly interested in how early relationships, trauma, and nervous system patterns shape how we move through the world. I also work with individuals who feel stuck in old roles, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or self-doubt, helping them find their voice, establish boundaries, and cultivate inner peace.
Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you. It’s about reconnecting with parts of yourself you may have had to bury along the way.
I believe we heal in connection, and that the therapeutic relationship can be a powerful place to rediscover who you really are beneath all the coping mechanisms.
Practice description
My practice is a space to explore, unravel, and reconnect with who you 'really' are. You might be carrying anxiety, shame, complex trauma, grief, or a quiet sense that something isn't quite right. Together, we’ll explore what’s underneath and begin the discovery.
I practise Transpersonal Integrative Psychotherapy, which draws on a range of approaches. Psychodynamic, somatic, humanistic, and beyond, and weaves in a gentle awareness of the spiritual dimension. To me, spirituality is the animating force that guides and shapes our lives. No belief system required, just curiosity and openness.
Each client is unique, so I adapt the work to meet you where you are. I might invite you to try visualisation, dreamwork, drawing, inner child work, role-play, or sandtray, especially when words aren’t enough. Sometimes, I’ll offer homework or experiments between sessions, helping you build real-life skills, not just insight. Change happens when we begin to apply what we know and take those risky, small steps, despite fear, shame, or anxiety, toward a new quality of Life.
Therapy with me is collaborative. It may include tears, silence, laughter, or lightbulb moments, but always, it’s about reconnection. I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.
My first session
An initial consultation will establish if it feels right for us to work together, and you can then decide whether you want to proceed.
We will agree on a fixed number of sessions or a more open-ended arrangement. Our work together will begin with a period of getting to know you.
