I offer counselling sessions on weekdays and weekends, online, by telephone, from my practice, or outdoors through walk & talk sessions. I work with adults aged 18 and over from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences, and will do my best to find a time and way of meeting that fits around your commitments and individual needs.

About me and my therapy practice

Are you exhausted from holding everything together, while inside you're struggling? Maybe you're questioning whether you're good enough, trying to find your feet after a loss, caught up in negative thoughts, or simply feeling stuck and unsure how to move forward. You don't need to have everything figured out or be in crisis to come to counselling. We can start with what's happening for you right now. Sometimes having a space to explore things openly, without expectation, can be the first step towards making sense of what you're experiencing and finding a little more hope for what lies ahead.

I'm a qualified pluralistic counsellor, so sessions are shaped around you, with flexibilty and a range of methods. We might simply talk, explore patterns or use creative approaches. Working with clients in the UK and internationally has given me insight into different cultures and life experiences, shaping the open, curious and non-judgemental way I work.

Choosing counselling isn't always an easy decision. Everyone's story is different. You don't need to be certain what you want from counselling, have the right words or know where to start. We can begin there together, creating space for hope and new possibilities while exploring what you want for yourself and your life.

Practice description

I offer a free initial 20-minute telephone conversation where we can talk about what has brought you to counselling and explore whether I may be the right person to support you. This is also a chance for you to ask questions and get a feel for how I work.

If we decide to go ahead, I offer counselling sessions of up to 55 minutes, giving you time and space that is completely yours. I provide both short and long-term counselling, and we can discuss what might suit you, along with our counselling agreement, during our initial session. We will review our work together at various points along the way.

Sessions are £70. I offer a reduced fee for students and those receiving benefits, which must be agreed before the first session and may require proof of eligibility. Payment is made in full at the time of booking. Cancellations made with at least 24 hours' notice will receive a full refund; otherwise, the session is charged at the full rate.

Each session is an opportunity to pause, reflect and explore what feels most important to you, without judgement or expectation. You may want to talk freely, prefer a more structured focus, or find creative or non-talking approaches helpful. We will shape our sessions together, allowing how we work to evolve as your needs change.

Clients often describe my style as warm, grounded and easy to talk to. You can expect me to listen with care, respect your pace and work collaboratively with you. Whether you're facing change, loss, uncertainty or simply finding life difficult at the moment, my aim is to offer a compassionate and confidential space where you can explore what's happening and find your own way forward.

My first session

After our free 15-20 minute consultation where we briefly talk about what has brought you to counselling and explore whether I may be the right person to support you. Our first session is a chance to begin getting to know each other and make sense of what's been happening for you. There is no pressure to tell me everything at once or know exactly what you want to work on.

We'll talk about what feels most important to you, what you hope counselling might offer and any preferences you have about how we work together. Depending on what brings you to counselling, I may also suggest completing a brief assessment questionnaire to help us understand more about what you're experiencing and where we might begin.

We'll also discuss our counselling agreement, GDPR, confidentiality and any questions you may have.

Most importantly, we'll begin at your pace. You don't need to prepare anything beforehand , you can simply come as you are, and we'll take it from there together.
