About me and my therapy practice
I am a Humanistic Integrative Psychotherapist, committed to providing inclusive, compassionate therapy that welcomes and supports every member of the community.
I have worked within local authorities, charitable organisations, and low-cost therapy services, gaining experience with a diverse range of clients from various backgrounds and communities.
My practice integrates a range of therapeutic approaches, including Humanistic, Integrative, Existential, Person-Centred, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, Gestalt, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Systemic Therapy. This integrative framework allows me to adapt the therapeutic process to meet the unique needs of you.
Practice description
Your personal history, family dynamics, cultural and social background, along with your unique needs, thoughts—both conscious and unconscious—and the coping strategies you've developed, all play an important role in shaping how you understand yourself and relate to others.
In our work together, I offer a compassionate, confidential, and non-judgmental space where you are invited to show up just as you are. At your own pace, we will gently explore your experiences with curiosity and care. Whether you are seeking deeper self-understanding, healing from past wounds, or simply a safe place to be present with yourself, or a place to feel supported and heard, my aim is to support your unique path. Together, we will work collaboratively towards nurturing your inner strengths and bringing awareness to emotional patterns and behaviours that may be limiting your growth. Through collaborative reflection, we will work toward healing, growth and connection to yourself and others.
My first session
You are welcome to a free 20-minute phone or online consultation. We will explore what you are hoping to achieve from therapy and whether I can offer the right kind of support. I will briefly outline how sessions are structured and what to expect, especially if this is your first time considering therapy.
The goal of this conversation is for you to feel informed, supported, and empowered to decide what is best for you.
If you choose to move forward, the sessions can be structured as either time‑limited or open‑ended, according to what will best support your progress.
