About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I’m Ravi,
We all go through stressful experiences in life that might make us feel helpless, vulnerable or unsafe. These feelings are part of what makes us human, and everyone will seek to overcome their struggles in their own unique way.
As you are reading my profile, it means that you have made the decision to think about seeking support from a professional psychotherapist. As a qualified and verified counsellor and psychotherapist, I know that’s not an easy decision to make.
A lot of people find it terribly difficult to talk about things that are painful or that they perceive to be embarrassing, and I have worked successfully with many people who have presented a range of different issues.
I offer a safe, non-judgmental space of empathy and understanding where we can work out what has happened to you. We will work together to help you understand your struggles, express your thoughts and feelings, and then explore what you discover.
On your journey to improved emotional and mental health, I will walk alongside you as you unravel the way you think about yourself and your current situation.
From my own experiences, I know that therapy can be a life-changing experience. My passion is to enable people to live the life they choose through making positive changes and reaching their goals.
If you choose to work with me, I will use an integrative approach, creatively combining a range of theories and concepts to meet your unique needs.
Practice description
I offer counselling and psychotherapy services in both English and Gujarati, catering to adults, older adults, young individuals, and couples seeking support for various challenges related to your thoughts and feelings. My aim is to provide a safe and understanding environment for you to navigate your struggles.
I am committed to supporting marginalised communities, including refugees and ethnic minorities, as part of my dedication to inclusivity. As a member of the Black, African, Asian Therapy Network (BAATN), I bring a unique dual cultural perspective to my practice.
I have experience working with individuals with disabilities, whether these disabilities have been present from birth, resulted from an injury, or emerged from life experiences. Additionally, I work with the LGBTQIA+ community.
I offer face-to-face therapy sessions in Leicester and Leicestershire, as well as remote online and telephone sessions.
I attend Continuous Professional Development courses because I believe it’s essential to stay updated on the latest developments in Counselling and Psychotherapy. This helps me better support those I work with and understand their needs.
My Fees are
£55 Individuals
£80 Couples

My first session
During the assessment, we will explore the specific issues or challenges that have prompted you to seek therapy. This session is crucial for setting the foundation for our work together.
Additionally, we will establish a therapeutic contract that outlines the structure of our sessions. This contract outlines key areas, including confidentiality and boundaries within our therapeutic relationship.
By clarifying these elements, we aim to create a safe and supportive environment where you can feel comfortable expressing yourself and working towards your goals. The most important factor in this session is that you feel heard and confident that I am the right therapist for you.
