About me and my therapy practice

Welcome. You may have landed here for any number of reasons, seeking support for yourself, as a couple, or on behalf of someone else. Choosing a therapist can feel overwhelming, but most of us here offer a free initial Zoom call (no obligation) so you can sense for yourself whether the fit feels right.

I’m a Relational Therapist, working with individuals and couples. At the heart of my practice is the understanding that how we relate to others, beginning with how we relate to ourselves, shapes the way we experience life. Whether I’m working in a clinical room, a school, or a corporate setting, I begin from the same principle: no one is broken. Therapy with me supports not just insight and realisation, but integration, so that the body, mind and inner essence, can come back into connection, and you live life in full from there.

I’ve lived and worked across Asia, Africa and the UK. My clinical experience spans private practice, school-based counselling, NHS and EAP services, and corporate wellbeing. I also work with medical professionals, teachers, and leaders in high-pressure roles.

My approach has evolved through a long-standing career in bodywork, healing, and talking therapies. It blends psychodynamic insight with Psychodynamic and the Clarkson 5-Strand Relationship Model, and a strong foundation in somatic awareness. It means that I pay attention to what you say, how your body responds and the changing energetic quality in the room.

Re-learning that the body doesn’t lie can offer a powerful counter to a mind overwhelmed with intrusive thoughts like doubt, shame, guilt and self-criticism. Emotions, thoughts and memories, even though invisible, can affect our body (eg: nervous system), often fuelling loops of anxiety, self-doubt, low mood, or burnout. Anxiety, for example, often signals a disconnection from the body’s natural sensing. If left unresolved, these ‘invisible’ stressors can impact energy levels, concentration, sleep, libido, confidence, and self-regard.

Practice description

The therapeutic relationship matters. I take seriously the responsibility of holding a confidential, attuned, and transparent space. I work in a way that supports vitality and presence, ready to challenge when helpful, and able to respond flexibly to each client’s unique needs. I endeavour to live in a way that supports that, walking my talk, and talking my walk.

The Experience I Bring into the Room:

• Individual and couples therapy (online and in-person)

• Group facilitation and reflective practice

• School-based counselling

• Therapeutic support for medical professionals (NHS and private)

• Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) support across corporate, education and health sectors

• Crisis work and triage in mental health: trauma, self-harm, suicidal ideation

• Design and delivery of global wellbeing programmes for multinationals

Alongside my therapeutic work, I write about the evolving relationship between therapy and Ai, exploring how therapists can meet this changing landscape with clarity, ethical responsibility and relational depth. I bring attention to the irreplaceable role of embodied presence in an age of automation. You can also get more of a sense of what it may be like to work with me by reading some of the articles. My first session

Introduction Video Call – No charge, no obligation.

At its foundation, therapy is a relationship, and it is important to discern the person you intend to work with. You can contact me for a connect video call (up to 30mins) to discuss what you are looking for and get a sense of each other. If agreeable, we would book your first session.

What to expect in our first session

Every therapeutic relationship is different, as every client is different. So the first session offers a gentle and practical start, an opportunity to connect and establish the foundation of working together based on what your intentions are.

You’re welcome to share what brings you to therapy, but there’s no pressure to explain everything at once. I’ll offer reflections, answer any questions, and you’ll get a sense of how I work. We’ll discuss length and frequency of your counselling programme going forward. Most importantly, it’s a chance to notice whether the space feels connected, clear and helpful for you.

My practice is shaped by lived experience across cultures and modalities: spoken therapy, somatic (body-based) practice, and energy awareness. Whether addressing recent, to long term states of anxiety and depression, embedded relationship patterns, to cultural displacement, identity questions or professional burnout, I offer a space that is unimposing, steady, respectful, and transformative.

I am keen to support you in your everyday life, so that therapy is seen as a resource for your expansion in the world, and your advances are not confined to the clinic room. I work short term and long term, in-person and online, with clients in the UK and globally.

Sessions are 50mins.
