About me and my therapy practice
How Therapy Can Help...By supporting you in your challenging times, whilst helping you find a way out.
I have worked in both professional and charitable roles, which have included helping and supporting others. This encouraged my decision to change course to work solely as an accredited therapist.
Working as an accredited therapist has involved me working with people from all walks of life and backgrounds who have a wide range of experiences and mental health needs.
Additionally, I have also worked as a mentor and a volunteer for many different charity organisations that specialise in the areas of self-harm; suicide; children impacted by physical and learning disabilities; low-income; households; and clients with various mental health needs.
Therapy Benefits
In my experience, people can struggle with a mental health issue, a personal crisis or challenges with a relationship for much longer when everything is kept inside.
I understand that deciding to make a change that results in contacting a therapist is not an easy one to do. However, taking that step can be a brave and decisive one for self-healing.
Practice description
My Approach & Benefits of Therapy
I am trained in many therapies, including my two speciality therapies, attachment therapy and anger management.
Working with attachment therapy helps a client to understand how they can feel and behave in either professional or personal relationships. This can be beneficial and therapeutic in enhancing healthier and functional relationships with yourself and others.
Feel free to visit my website for more information on my approach.
All of the therapies I am trained in can help and support with many health challenges and symptoms relating to:
Addiction, Abuse, Anxiety, Anger Management, Bereavement, Depression, Identity, Loneliness, Learning Disabilities, Low Confidence and Self-Esteem, Low Moods, Depressive Thoughts and Feelings, Imposter Syndrome, Relationship Styles/Patterns, Family Conflicts, and Stress.
With all the approaches I use, they are tailored to best suit a client and their specific needs, as no two people are the same.
Also, through the process, I believe it is paramount for a client to feel safe enough to share their vulnerabilities, which could relate to their troubles, desires or greatest regrets.
In addition, my working approach is to offer a calm, kind, patient, and safe environment. This way, a client in their own time can talk explicitly about the difficult experiences they are facing.
Also, collaboratively, we can explore any feelings and behavioural patterns that could be infringing on your success.
Throughout the process it can begin to show a client new changes, their positive qualities, and attributes, which can be beneficial to building a more fulfilling and healing sense of self.
Feel free to visit my website for more information about my practice.
