About me and my therapy practice

±«ÓãÊÓƵ

Life can be tough and during those times it can help to talk to someone who isn't involved. Taking that first step and asking for help takes courage. Therapy offers you a warm, safe, confidential space where you can explore your difficulties with the support of a trained professional.

I am a  person centred counsellor, with an empathic approach that I tune to suit your needs.

I specialise in bereavement, but have worked and can offer support with; post - traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma, anxiety, depression, abuse,  sexual abuse, stress management, dissociative identity disorder, hearing voices, health anxiety, issues related to the menopause and spiritual counselling. I work with people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds, as well as  a variety of age groups.

One client recently said, 'you have made a huge difference to my life, thanks'

Practice description

I work alongside you, helping to untangle your feelings, whether related to anxiety, bullying, childhood trauma, depression or other issues.

Utilising the therapeutic process, we would work together to curiously explore the concerns that are impacting your life. Through careful listening, I would reflect back aspects to you, posing questions that gently challenge the way you reflect on your problems.

I offer counselling face to face, on line via video link or on the telephone.

I am happy to answer any questions you have with regard to counselling and offer a free initial 15 minute telephone consultation, where we can discuss your needs and help you decide if counselling is for you.
