About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor offering therapy to children, young people, adults, and couples. My approach is person-centred, valuing empathy, warmth, and a belief in each client’s ability to grow and heal.
I work with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, work-related stress, gender and sexuality, relationship difficulties, childhood trauma, loss, and grief. My integrative style means I tailor sessions to meet individual needs, supporting clients in a flexible and collaborative way.
I have completed Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) Level 1 and 2, a trauma-informed model especially effective for attachment issues. I use DDP principles to create safety and trust, particularly when working with children and families.
In addition to therapy, I offer clinical supervision to fellow professionals and provide therapeutic consultancy to children's homes across Greater Manchester. My background as a qualified Social Worker includes extensive work with care leavers and an understanding of intergenerational trauma.
I am non-judgemental, compassionate, and work alongside clients as they explore their experiences, understand their emotions, and move towards healing. I believe the client is the expert in their own life and my role is to support their journey.
