About me and my therapy practice

There’s something inherently human about needing to speak our truth, to share what’s heavy in our hearts. I believe that within every struggle, there lies an invitation—to come closer to ourselves, to listen, and to be heard.

We will look together at the confusion, distress or overwhelm you maybe experiencing, to uncover and disentangle emotion, body wisdom, meaning and wholeness.

I endeavour to create a safe and supportive space that encourages open minded dialogue. I embrace diverse perspectives and am inclusive of all identities.

I believe that real change begins when we listen to the subtle conversations, slow down to be able to hear the whispers of the body, the words, memories and inner guidance.

I am a qualified integrative therapist, trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches. My work is primarily rooted in a relational psychosynthesis framework, with a focus on supporting the nervous system and somatic awareness.

Together, we will explore how relational patterns, often from the past, may influence your current life, including your self dialogue. By using a somatic lens this helps your body process and integrate new insights. My work aims to foster deeper awareness and change to support your overall well-being and harmony.

Practice description

I provide face-to-face sessions in person sessions in Guildford and Wimbledon, just a five-minute walk from both train stations.

Sessions are typically held weekly at the same day and time. I usually work on an open-ended basis, with clients seeing me for durations ranging from three months to longer, depending on their needs.

If you're uncertain about whether therapy or working with me is right for you, please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions. I'm happy to discuss any accommodations you may need before you decide to proceed.

My first session

It is important to find a therapist who you feel comfortable with. In my experience, the best way to establish whether we would be a good fit is through an initial session. There is no obligation to proceed.

If you have specific questions or just want to hear the sound of my voice I am happy to arrange a brief telephone call of up to 20 minutes.

Please see my website for testimonials and more details about working with me: www.Therapygrant.wordpress.com
