About me and my therapy practice

I work with intelligent, emotionally curious adults who understand a lot about themselves, but can still feel caught in overthinking, self-criticism or disconnected from their emotional inner lives.

My approach is warm, relational and deeply attuned. I listen not only to what you say, but to what sits beneath the words: emotion, energy, shifts in tone and what your body may be communicating.

Together, we explore the patterns you learned early in life and untangle the knot of thought, emotion and body.

I believe healing happens through connection: being deeply listened to, understood and accepted without judgement. Through that relationship, you can begin to meet yourself with compassion rather than criticism.

Practice description

You may understand your patterns intellectually but still find yourself caught in anxiety, overthinking, self-criticism or difficult relationship patterns.

Together, we become curious about what sits underneath them and where they began.

I pay attention to thoughts, emotions and the body, helping you reconnect with parts of yourself you may have learned to disconnect from.

This is a warm, human space where you can feel deeply listened to, less alone and more able to meet yourself with compassion.

My first session

Our first session is a conversation about you: what has brought you here, what you’re carrying and what you need.

You don’t need to have the right words or know exactly where to begin. I’ll listen compassionately to what you say and try and understand what may be happening for you as you speak, as you hold all this and ask a few gentle questions to further my understanding.

The relationship between us matters. Our first meeting gives you a chance to experience how it feels to be with me and whether you feel listened to, understood and safe enough to explore more deeply.

I usually work longer term, allowing space for trust, depth and meaningful change.

Types of therapy

Existential, Humanistic, Integrative, Interpersonal, Jungian, Person centred, Psychosynthesis, Relational, Systemic, Transpersonal
