I offer a non judgmental space to explore what matters to you. I work with a variety of concerns, such as anxiety, depression, stress, loss and bereavement. I bring my understanding of neurodivergence, alongside training and experience in trauma focused work into sessions shaped around you and your needs.

About me and my therapy practice

You may have spent years masking, feeling misunderstood, or wondering why things that seem easy for others take more out of you. Over time, this can affect your relationships, your work and your sense of self.

You may have experienced anxiety and depression, have struggled to express yourself and what your needs are. You may be navigating a difficult chapter or working toward personal growth, together, we work toward a greater sense of emotional wellbeing,

My aim is to build a working relationship where you feel heard and understood. I offer a respectful, collaborative space to explore what you're going through, whatever this looks like for you. Together, we explore your experiences at your pace.

Sessions offer the opportunity to work towards greater self awareness, building resilience, developing new ways of coping and a greater self compassion.

Practice description

Individuals

I offer 50 minute individual counselling sessions, usually on a weekly basis. The initial session is a chance for us to meet, talk through what's brought you to counselling, and get a sense of how we would work together.

We can discuss your current concerns and what might best support you moving forward. You are welcome to ask anything about the counselling process such as how I work, or anything else that will help you feel informed before deciding whether to continue

Couples

Many couples seek therapy following a breakdown in communication, ongoing misunderstandings or unresolved conflict that has become a source of tension.

I offer 60 or 90 minute sessions where couples can identify difficulties within the relationship and the goals they would like to work towards. One of my aims is to provide a safe, empathetic and confidential environment where each person has equal opportunity to be heard.

Together, we work towards a greater understanding of your relationship needs and develop ways to support improved communication.

My Practice

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and an accredited member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapists Society (NCPS). I work within the ethical frameworks and professional standards of both organisations.

I attend regular clinical supervision with a UKCP registered psychotherapist and am currently working towards UKCP registration.

I hold full professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
