About me and my therapy practice
Find Your Way Forward
It’s so human to feel adrift at times. You may have reached a point where you know you want things to feel different, but you’re not sure how to get there. I can help you to find your way forward. If something in my profile speaks to you, please do get in touch. I’d be happy to have a conversation about how I might support you.
What's making life feel difficult right now?
Are you feeling anxious, overwhelmed or disconnected from yourself?
Maybe you are constantly worrying or overthinking and finding it difficult to make decisions.
Perhaps you are struggling with your relationships, your confidence, or the weight of something you’ve been carrying for a long time.
You may have lost your motivation or no longer find much enjoyment in life.
When life starts to feel this way it can be scary and unsettling.
Whatever has brought you here, please know that change is possible. Therapy can give you the space to understand what’s happening for you, reconnect with yourself and begin to work out what you need to move forward.
Practice description
I believe therapy works best when you feel safe enough to be yourself, understood for who you are and supported without judgement. Our relationship is at the heart of my work, and I will take the time to get to know you, listen carefully and understand your experience from your perspective.
Together, we can explore what is happening for you, understand patterns that may be keeping you stuck and find ways to manage difficult thoughts, feelings and experiences. You don’t need to know where to start, have everything worked out or come to therapy with a clear plan. We can begin with where you are.
I work from an integrative model of therapy, which means I use a variety of therapeutic approaches that are tailored to your specific needs. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, and I believe you should have a voice in how we work together. I work in a trauma-informed way and may draw on somatic practices, mindfulness and creative approaches, depending on what feels helpful and appropriate for you.
I also use neuroscience-informed, evidence-based interventions to help you understand anxiety, stress and your body's responses, so that you can begin to feel more grounded and develop ways of managing what you are experiencing.
I bring warmth, compassion and a calm presence. I won’t tell you who you should be or what you should do. Instead, I will support you to understand yourself more deeply, recognise your own strengths and develop greater trust in yourself and your ability to make choices that feel right for you. The strengths and resources within you that may be difficult to see when life feels overwhelming.
My first session
A Space to Pause
Life can be noisy, fast and demanding. We are constantly connected, yet many of us can feel more disconnected than ever. I provide a quiet, gentle haven away from the noise and demands of everyday life. Somewhere you don't have to be productive, hold everything together or look after everyone else. Somewhere you can bring the things that may be difficult to say out loud and know that you will be met with compassion and understanding.
Our first session is a chance to explore your needs and goals, get to know each other and begin creating a supportive space for you.
Free Introductory Call
If you’re considering therapy but feeling unsure about taking the first step, I offer a FREE 20-minute introductory call. We can talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, what you’re looking for and any questions you may have. It’s a relaxed, informal conversation and if you are happy to move forwards we can arrange our first session.
Taking the first step is often the hardest, but I'm here to make it as approachable and reassuring as possible - Feel free to contact me to arrange an initial call.
