Availability
I work exclusively online which allows me to be flexible with days and times, I currently have availability and will try to be as accommodating as I can according to your schedule.
About me and my therapy practice
I take a holistic and integrative approach to Psychotherapy, working with adults facing transitions, emotional exhaustion, workplace stress and relationship difficulties. My sessions provide a safe and supportive space to explore deep-rooted patterns, unhelpful belief systems and past experiences that may still influence the present. I also have experience helping women go through peri-menopause, addressing both emotional and physical challenges. My focus is on fostering personal growth, establishing personal boundaries, reconnecting with intuition and strengthening personal growth, establishing healthy boundaries, reconnecting with intuition and strengthening self-awareness. Working exclusively online allows flexibility, accommodating clients with busy schedules, frequent travel or hybrid working arrangements, ensuring therapy fits seamlessly into their lives.
Clients can expect a deeply personalized and adaptable therapeutic process that fosters lasting emotional growth and resilience. By integrating different therapeutic approaches, sessions are tailored to each individual's needs, allowing them to explore past experiences, relationship dynamics, and thought patterns in a way that is both insightful and constructive. Over time, clients can develop a stronger sense of self-awareness, emotional regulation, and confidence in setting healthy boundaries. Those dealing with anxiety, stress, or peri-menopause symptoms often find relief as they learn practical coping strategies that support both their mental and physical well-being. Ultimately, integrative therapy helps clients move beyond old patterns, gain clarity about their emotions and experiences, and cultivate a more balanced and fulfilling life.
Practice description
My Integrative approach to therapy combines multiple therapeutic frameworks, allowing me to tailor sessions to each clients individual needs rather than relying on a single methodology. I draw from a range of Psychological theories, incorporating elements of Psychodynamic exploration - examining how early life experiences shape current behaviours - while also integrating Humanistic approaches that emphasise self awareness, personal growth and emotional connection, Additionally, I consider the mind body connection, helping clients understand how emotional distress manifests physically, particularly in contexts like peri-menopause, anxiety and chronic fatigue and stress. My method ensures a comprehensive, adaptable and deeply personalised therapeutic experience that fosters long term change and emotional resilience.
My first session
The first session is usually set up as an initial consultation, it is 50min and I offer this at a reduced rate of £30, you are under no obligation to continue but it is a good way for us to meet and figure out if we are a good fit and could work well together. We will discuss expectations of therapy, previous therapy experience and what is bringing you to therapy.
Clients usually feel a sense of "lightness" after this first meeting.

About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I'm Sarah.
I'm a fully qualified Integrative psychotherapist and counsellor, I'm insured and a registered member of the BACP, with several years experience working with clients.
I have worked with a wide variety of clients starting my career with the NHS at a GP surgery where I worked with many clients in crisis, feeling overwhelmed, anxious and deeply depressed, struggling financially, in their relationships and struggling with life’s circumstances. This eventually took its toll on me, and I decided to venture into Private Practice where I have been working for the past several years. During this time, I have worked with young adults wrestling with life purpose, direction, self-esteem and relationships all the way to business executives and young professionals presenting with work related stresses, anxiety issues, overwhelm, impostor-syndrome, feeling overworked, unappreciated and taken advantage of. These difficulties go onto affect a person’s sense of self and personal relationships. The process of working through relationship issues almost always connects us to the past, where we work extensively through different stages of childhood and adolescence. I like to work in a holistic way with my clients, not only focusing on thoughts and feelings in the mind but how they relate and effect the body as well.
My aim with clients is to focus on personal growth and transformation, establishing healthy boundaries, understanding relationship dynamics, connecting more deeply to their inner self, intuition and understanding their emotions. I work exclusively online I find this works particularly well for my clients who have adopted hybrid working where online can fit into their busy schedules, it also accommodates for people who travel a lot for work as I can meet weekly/fortnightly/short term or long-term depending on their needs
Areas I can help with are:
Childhood traumas
Depression
Anxiety
Social anxiety
Relationship issues
overcoming negative life patterns
Practice description
My integrative approach allows me to tailor the experience for each individual, helping you to get the most out of your experience. The model I use draws on the principles of Psychodynamic, Person Centred, Mindfulness and Internal Family Systems (IFS) and coaching. In our work together I hope to give a new understanding and practical tools which will serve you in the future. At the heart of my practice is the understanding that our relationship is the key component for successful therapeutic outcomes. I hope and aim to provide a warm, safe, supportive and non-judgemental space to allow you to challenge established ways of thinking and being. Working collaboratively, I aim to help you evaluate your needs to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, allowing you to make empowered choices.
