About me and my therapy practice
I’m an integrated psychotherapist and I use a few therapeutic approaches, including Person-Centred Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Existential Therapy.
I have PhD in Mental Health Counselling and over 20 years of experience as a practitioner, therapist educator, lecturer, and researcher.
I see clients both in central London and online.
Practice description
I offer open-ended therapy for adults of all ages.
Some of the areas I support people with include relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, burnout, chronic pain, self-esteem, life transitions, identity issues, trauma, grief, and existential concerns.
I have some reduced fee spaces for people who are out of work, on a low income or studying full time.
My first session
Before our first session I offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation, This gives you an opportunity to briefly outline your current circumstances and helps me to consider if I might be able to help you.
Our first session is a chance for you to talk about what’s been difficult for you and what’s brought you to therapy. We’ll explore the areas you’d like to focus on and how we might approach them.
We'll also discuss some of the practicalities and think about how we feel about working together.
What I can help with
