About me and my therapy practice

I am a very experienced play therapist aged 5-25 yrs.

I have worked in the state sector as the lead counsellor in primary and secondary schools for over 30 yrs. I now work in a shed in my garden. Very peaceful.

Practice description

I offer 40/50 minute sessions depending upon age and ability to talk and play.

My shed is FULL of toys and art equipment, books, fiddle toys, stuff

I am quite directive and talk a lot with the clients if they want to, which they usually do but playing/being playful is a huge part of the session if they roll with that. If not I try other ways which are more verbal.

We have fun as well as serious times.

The clients love the space in my garden too.

I also have 2 tortoises which are always a winner !

Before the sessions start I have a phone consultation with parents which I don鈥檛 charge for.

Often parents will want to come to the shed for a face to face consultation for an hour at 拢65.

My first session

No different but we will find out what鈥檚 bought them to me etc

No pressure to come back as I always stress
