About me and my therapy practice

I'm a qualified therapist registered and accredited with the BACP, offering flexible online counselling for clients across the UK and internationally. Therapy with me happens via secure video calls (Google Meet), allowing you to talk from the comfort and privacy of your own space.

I offer a warm, non-judgmental environment where you can feel seen, heard, and understood. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, or navigating life changes, I tailor sessions to your individual needs, supporting you to feel more in control and aligned with what matters most to you.

My approach is collaborative and person-centred. I integrate a range of evidence-based methods, including CBT, Transactional Analysis, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and trauma-informed practice. We'll work together to explore patterns, build insight, and develop meaningful strategies for growth.

Clients often come to me for support with anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, grief, life transitions, addiction, relationship challenges, or burnout. I also support clients who are not in crisis but want to explore personal development or reconnect with themselves.

Sessions are 50 or 90 minutes, with flexible booking and secure online payment. I offer both short- and long-term work, depending on your goals.

You don’t have to have it all figured out to start therapy. If you're ready to begin a grounded, supportive process of change, I’m here to walk alongside you.

Practice description

I provide an online therapy practice which offers a calm, grounded space for adults seeking meaningful change. Whether you're navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, low self-esteem, past trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, or simply feeling emotionally stuck,  you’re welcome here. You don’t need to have a clear “reason” to start therapy. If something feels off, heavy, or hard to carry alone, that’s reason enough.

Clients often come to me feeling emotionally exhausted or unsure where to begin. My role is to walk alongside you,  not to fix or analyse from a distance, but to support you in making sense of your experience, reconnecting with what matters, and finding a way forward that feels true to you.

As a qualified therapist registered and accredited with the BACP, I bring both academic and clinical depth to our work. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Health Psychology, which means our work is grounded in evidence-based understanding of the mind–body connection, emotional processing, and sustainable wellbeing. But more importantly, I offer therapy that’s human, honest, and responsive to who you are, not just what you’re going through.

You’ll find a warm, collaborative space where there’s room to explore at your own pace. I integrate therapeutic knowledge with emotional presence to help you shift unhelpful patterns, strengthen self-awareness, and develop resilience. Clients often say they feel safe, seen, and gently challenged in our sessions.

Serenity Sessions is fully online and accessible to adults across the UK and internationally. If you’re ready to begin therapy with someone who sees you as a whole person, not a problem to be solved,  I’m here to support you.

My first session

The first session is all about getting to know each other,  no pressure, no need to prepare, and no expectation to share everything all at once. You’ll have the space to talk about what’s brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping to gain, and ask any questions you may have about the process.

We’ll go at your pace. Some people come with a clear idea of what they want to work on; others just know they don’t feel quite right and need space to explore that. Both are completely valid starting points.

In this initial session, I’ll also ask some gentle questions to understand a bit more about your background and current situation, and we’ll discuss practical things like session structure, frequency, and whether you’d prefer shorter-term or open-ended work. There’s no obligation to continue after the first session;  you’re free to decide if it feels like a good fit.

I don’t offer a reduced rate for the first session, as I believe in offering consistency and value throughout our work together. However, you’re welcome to book a single 50-minute session to try things out, or opt for a longer 90-minute session, which I call "Mental Health Check-in Session"  (MC90) if you feel you’d benefit from more time to ease in.

You won’t be asked to complete any forms or assessments beforehand. I prefer to get to know you through real conversation. That said, if there are things you’d like me to know in advance (e.g., accessibility needs, cultural background, current mental health support), you’re welcome to share them ahead of time.

Starting therapy is a brave step, and it’s normal to feel a mix of hope and nerves. My aim in the first session is to help you feel grounded, respected, and gently supported from the very beginning.
