Availability
I currently have availability and offer counselling for individuals (adults and young people aged 11+), couples and any kind of relationship (parent and adult child, siblings, friends or workmates), groups, and EAPs. Sessions are available online, by phone, or in person in WA7 or a mix of these. if that suits you best.
I also work with Bupa and the following insurance companies: Aviva, AXA Health, Vitality and WPA
I work Monday to Thursday and aim to be as flexible as possible, with early morning, daytime, and evening appointments, depending on availability.
Since 2006, I鈥檝e supported people through many of life鈥檚 challenges - including anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship issues, and grief. I also spent ten years as a relationship counsellor with Relate.
If you鈥檙e facing a difficult decision or navigating a loss, whether that鈥檚 bereavement or another kind of ending, I can help you untangle what鈥檚 going on so you feel more able to choose your next steps.
For couples, I follow a standard approach: we begin with an extended, joint, session, followed by one individual session each, then return to joint work when it鈥檚 appropriate and safe. In some cases 鈥 such as where there are concerns around domestic abuse, substance misuse, or coercive control 鈥 couples work may not be suitable. Your safety always comes first.
In addition to ongoing therapy, I also offer:
鈥 Email Therapy 鈥 helpful if you prefer to write. Please email or see my website for more details.
鈥 Single Session Therapy 鈥 one focused session (up to 100 minutes) to explore a specific issue and possible ways forward.
鈥 Rewind Trauma Therapy 鈥 a gentle, non-intrusive approach to working with trauma. Please contact me to explore if this might be right for you.
鈥 Group Counselling or Supervision 鈥 available by arrangement.
Feel free to get in touch for a no-obligation chat about what you need.
About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome. Whether you're looking for support for yourself, your teen, your relationship, or as part of an EAP service 鈥 I鈥檓 here to offer a confidential, non-judgemental space where you can talk, reflect, and be heard.
You may be unsure of your next step, overwhelmed by what鈥檚 going on, or simply feel stuck 鈥 that鈥檚 OK. I offer a warm, supportive space where we can explore what鈥檚 happening for you and what might help. You鈥檒l be accepted as you are, and encouraged to find your own way forward - even if that means doing nothing for now. It鈥檚 your life, and your choice.
My approach is collaborative and responsive to your needs. Some sessions may be about being deeply heard; others may be more focused on change or solutions. We鈥檒l work at your pace, based on what you need each time we meet.
I offer short-term, long-term, or one-off sessions. These can be in person, in Runcorn (WA7), online via Zoom, or by phone or, a mix of these.
I鈥檓 neurodivergent- and LGBTQ-friendly. I welcome clients who are diagnosed, self-diagnosed, or exploring their identity 鈥 including those who are Autistic, ADHD, or AuDHD. I bring both lived experience and training in this area.
As a BACP-accredited counsellor I believe therapy isn鈥檛 about 鈥渇ixing鈥 you 鈥 it鈥檚 about helping you reconnect with your own strengths, choices and direction.
Practice description
I鈥檓 an accredited, integrative counsellor which means I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches including person-centred therapy, transactional analysis (TA), and systemic and attachment therapy - to tailor our work to your unique needs.

I enjoy working with individuals, young people (11+), couples, relationships and groups. I also welcome clients who are neurodivergent or exploring neurodivergence 鈥 I don鈥檛 claim to be an expert, but I aim to offer an affirming and supportive space for all.
In relationship work, it鈥檚 standard to begin with a joint , extended, session, followed by one individual session with each person, then returning to joint work when appropriate. Where issues such as domestic abuse, addiction, or coercive control are present, joint work may not be possible. Your safety and wellbeing always guide the process.
Couples may come to counselling to reconnect, improve communication, make important decisions, or to separate with care, particularly when children are involved.

Availability
I鈥檓 a BACP-accredited integrative counsellor and clinical supervisor, offering one-to-one and / or group supervision to counsellors, supervisors, students / trainees and other helping professionals.
I currently have some availability and would be happy to arrange a free, informal chat by phone, Zoom, or in person (if you're local to WA7) so we can get a sense of whether we鈥檇 be a good fit. You鈥檙e welcome to ask any questions, and I鈥檒l do the same. No pressure, just a chance to explore.
I enjoy working with both experienced practitioners and trainees. Whether you're looking for regular individual supervision, a supportive supervision group, or something more flexible to fit your training requirements, I鈥檇 be glad to talk it through with you.
Trainees often need flexible arrangements 鈥 monthly or fortnightly supervision, sessions of different lengths, or a mix. Just let me know what you鈥檙e looking for. Discounted rates are available for trainees and newly qualified counsellors 鈥 feel free to ask.
I鈥檓 collaborative, practical, and empathic, with a good sense of humour and many years of experience to support you through whatever arises in your work.
If we do connect, here鈥檚 something to consider: Would you feel comfortable bringing me a 鈥渄aft鈥 question or a difficult day? If the answer鈥檚 yes, then we may be a good match.
Feel free to get in touch 鈥 I usually respond to emails the same day (if you don鈥檛 get a reply please check your Spam folder) and will return phone messages as soon as possible (sometimes the next day).
About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome - I鈥檓 an experienced integrative counsellor with 20 years in private practice, working with adults, young people, and couples. I spent ten years with Relate and have also worked in a secondary school setting, so I understand the pressures of both private and organisational contexts.
In 2021, I completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Supervision, and I work primarily using the Seven-Eyed Supervision Model. This model integrates both relational and systemic perspectives, looking not only at the client and counsellor but also at the wider systems that affect the therapeutic work.
I aim to offer a safe, supportive, and reflective space where you can bring both the challenges and successes of your work. I believe supervision is not just a place for accountability, but also for growth, insight, and sometimes laughter too.
My approach is holistic and collaborative. We鈥檒l focus on your work with clients, but I also make space for what's going on in your wider world 鈥 when it's relevant and helpful. If something personal is consistently affecting your work, I may gently suggest seeking separate therapeutic support.
I supervise counsellors from a wide range of modalities and backgrounds and offer:
鈥 Individual supervision (in person, by phone, or online)
鈥 Online group supervision (see below for current availability)
鈥 External supervision for professionals from other fields
鈥 Support for trainee counsellors, including placement and accreditation reports
Practice description
One-to-One Supervision:
鈥 拢50 for one hour
鈥 拢70 for 90 minutes
Sessions available online, by phone, or in person (WA7). Payment in advance confirms your booking.
Group Supervision:
Group supervision can be an enriching way to reduce isolation, share knowledge, and gain insight from peers. Groups are warm, supportive, and often bring moments of lightness as well as learning.
Current Online Groups:
鈥 1st Monday of the month @ 1:15pm (Relationship counsellors) 鈥 1 place available
鈥 2nd Thursday @ 12:45pm (Individual and Couples work counsellors)
鈥 1st Wednesday @ 9:15am (General counsellors)
Group Fees:
鈥 拢30 for 2-hour, monthly group
All groups include a mix of modalities. If you're interested in joining or starting a new group (e.g. for your college, workplace, or peer group), get in touch 鈥 no obligation.
My first session
Before our first supervision, we鈥檒l usually have had a short call or meeting to explore whether we鈥檙e a good fit.
When you decided to go ahead, I鈥檇 have send you a supervision agreement (for individual or group work). You鈥檙e advised that while you鈥檙e welcome to read it before our first session - I ask that you wait to sign until we鈥檝e met - it鈥檚 important that you feel fully comfortable before making a commitment.
In your first session, we鈥檒l go over any questions you have about the agreement or our ways of working, and then begin focusing on your client work or whatever else feels most relevant that day.
If you鈥檙e joining a group, you鈥檒l be welcomed, the other members will introduce themselves to you and then you will be given time to introduce yourself - who you are, what kind of work you do, and anything else you'd like to share 鈥 before we move into the usual group process.
Payment Terms:
鈥 Payment is due in advance to confirm your place
鈥 For regular groups or fortnightly sessions, I ask for monthly payment in advance (e.g. if two sessions in the month both are paid before the first supervision of that month)
Reports for Trainees:
I regularly write reports for CPCAB (50/100-hour), placement mid-points, and 鲍鱼视频accreditation. These are completed collaboratively - we鈥檒l review a draft together before I complete the final version.
Please note: I charge a standard one-hour fee for reports. If more time is required, we鈥檒l discuss this in advance.
If you鈥檙e looking for a supervisor who will listen, reflect, gently challenge when needed, and support your ongoing development 鈥 I鈥檇 love to hear from you.
Let鈥檚 have a conversation and see if we鈥檙e a good fit.
