About me and my therapy practice

When you contact me, you'll find a warm, supportive and collaborative approach. Together, we'll explore the challenges you're facing, understand how they may be affecting your thoughts, emotions, relationships and wellbeing, and develop practical, evidence-based strategies to help you move towards the life you want.

Since 2014, I have run a private counselling, psychotherapy and clinical hypnotherapy practice in Putney, South West London. I work with adults, children, couples and families, integrating approaches including CBT, Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), DBT and mindfulness. I am an accredited member of the ±«ÓãÊÓƵand a member of the BPS.

Alongside my private practice, I am Psychological Director for the wellbeing app Shoorah and have appeared as a psychological expert, interviewing England rugby player Joe Marler for a Sky Original documentary exploring men's mental health.

I hold a Master's degree in Psychological Therapies, postgraduate qualifications in Psychology, Clinical Hypnotherapy and CBT for Psychosis, and a BSc (Hons) in Organisational Psychology. I have trained at the University of Manchester, King's College London, the Institute of Psychiatry, City, University of London and the University of Westminster.

Practice description

I have extensive experience supporting adults, children, young people, couples and families with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, addiction, sleep difficulties and stress-related IBS through my evidence-based gut-directed hypnotherapy programme.

Alongside my private practice, I have worked with schools across Central and South West London, supporting students, parents and teachers, and have clinical experience within CAMHS at the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.

For 14 years, I worked as the Family and Carer Support Psychological Lead for South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, supporting families affected by psychosis, bipolar disorder and personality disorder. My wider NHS experience also includes working with people experiencing homelessness and addiction, and with individuals recovering from traumatic brain injury.

My first session

My first sessions are about getting to know each other in a collaborative way. I will develop a plan so you know what to expect from the sessions ahead, how we will work together, how long therapy may last, and which type of therapy may be most appropriate. We will review this regularly.

Your Treatment Guide

Discover how CBT, counselling and hypnotherapy can support personal growth, ease challenges and enhance wellbeing.

Therapy offers a safe, confidential space to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences without judgement. Together, we'll work to understand what's keeping you stuck and develop practical strategies to help you move forward.

I use an integrative approach, tailoring therapy to your individual needs by combining evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness and psychodynamic therapy. Where appropriate, I may also integrate clinical hypnotherapy into our work.
