About me and my therapy practice
About Me and What I Offer
Perhaps you've experienced feeling misunderstood by previous therapists, or like you needed to make your struggles more digestible for others to accept them. I get it. Through my own journey and years of accompanying clients, I've witnessed how often systems label as dysfunction what are actually remarkable signs of resilience—ingenious ways of surviving the unsurvivable.
You don't need to justify your experience here or present as healed or whole.
This isn't therapy aimed at fixing you.
It's about seeing, valuing, and gently nurturing the parts of you that have carried you through everything until now.
I create space for people moving through complex trauma, dissociation, eating struggles, chronic pain, loss, and the kinds of relational injuries that leave you simultaneously yearning for connection and deeply afraid of it. If this speaks to you, know that you're not alone.
My Approach
This is a space that moves at your pace.
My approach is collaborative, deeply relational, and grounded in respect for your nervous system's wisdom. I don't believe in managing symptoms or rushing change. I believe in being with what's here—with compassion and clarity.
I work integratively, drawing from trauma-informed models that honour the ways you've survived. My practice is rooted in Carolyn Spring's frameworks and shaped by both clinical training and lived experience.
You might notice that I ask gentle but meaningful questions. I listen closely, not just to what you say but to what your body and nervous system might be expressing. Some sessions may feel spacious and reflective, while others might touch something deep. Both are welcome.
I work from a place of curiosity over assumption, collaboration over control. My role isn't to lead you somewhere predetermined. It's to accompany you as you explore what healing might mean for you.
Together, we'll work toward the meaningful change you truly deserve.
Practice description
Compassionate, Collaborative Therapy for Complex Human Stories
This is therapy that honours where you are right now, without pressure to be 'fixed' or urgency to feel better. Whether we meet online or by phone, I provide a trauma-informed, relational space where your experiences are held with deep care and your ways of surviving are never seen as pathology.
Supporting Adults Who've Been Carrying Heavy Loads
I work with adults (18+) who often feel misunderstood by systems, previous therapists, and sometimes even by themselves. You might be navigating dissociation, eating difficulties that don't fit standard categories, chronic pain, or the lasting impact of relational trauma. Perhaps you swing between feeling overwhelmed and feeling nothing at all. Maybe you're simply tired of trying to keep everything together. You want change, but safety has to come first.
Co-Created Therapy That Responds to You
My approach isn't about following a predetermined path—it's collaborative and responsive to what you bring. Through our work together, you might notice yourself becoming more present, more able to make choices, less caught in shame. You may discover you can set boundaries that once felt impossible, and speak, rest, eat, and move from a place of deeper self-knowing

What to Expect in Our Early Sessions
Our initial 1-6 sessions form a gentle, collaborative exploration period. This is our opportunity to begin understanding each other and to notice what's arising for you. I'll offer thoughtful questions to help us develop a shared picture of your experiences, while you're welcome to share whatever feels meaningful or significant, entirely at your own rhythm.
These opening sessions also allow us to discover how we might work together most effectively—building safety, clarifying your aspirations, and co-creating a therapeutic journey that feels steady, responsive, and nurturing. During this initial period, we'll also establish our working agreement together, ensuring we're moving toward your vision of healing and growth.
Rather than offering a brief consultation call, I prefer to begin our exploration through these early assessment sessions once you've made initial contact via email. We can discuss what you're seeking, and I've found these fuller sessions provide a much richer, more relational foundation for determining whether we're well-matched. This approach gives us the space to sense whether we can work together collaboratively and in service of your wellbeing, without the urgency of making quick decisions.

About me and my therapy practice
My particular field of interest is the treatment of eating disorders - and trauma. I have personally witnessed how eating disorders sufferers frequently feel stigmatized, judged and shamed and I am passionate about creating a supportive, communicative and empathic treatment model in which patients are understood in an holistic way and provided with multifaceted psychotherapeutic support, in order to make a full recovery. I have over 19 years experience in the field of Mental Health – treating Eating Disorders, Trauma & PTSD, Anxiety, Addiction, Depression and Comorbidities. I am an advocate of removing all stigma around mental health issues and am dedicated to providing exemplary care for those who deal with these conditions.

About me and my therapy practice
A Reflective, Relational Space to Grow Your Practice and Yourself
Supervision with me is about more than case discussion. It's a place where you can bring the full complexity of your work—the questions, doubts, emotional weight—and be met with curiosity, steadiness, and care. Good supervision doesn't just help you feel supported; it strengthens your practice in meaningful, lasting ways. It's where you can think deeply about your work, sharpen your clinical instincts, and stay grounded in what really matters to you as a therapist.
Together, we'll focus on helping you develop clinical clarity in complex or ambiguous cases, strengthen your trauma-informed lens (especially around dissociation and disordered eating), and explore ethical dilemmas with nuance and integrity. You'll deepen your confidence in therapeutic decision-making and assessment processes while staying emotionally regulated and resourced as you support others. We'll reflect on therapeutic ruptures, countertransference, and relational dynamics, keeping your practice aligned with your values even in system-driven contexts. Throughout, you'll receive honest, compassionate feedback without judgment.
Supervision becomes part of your practice's foundation—not just for safety, but for depth, sustainability, and growth. If you're looking for a collaborative, co-created space that helps you do the work well, not just get through it, I'd be glad to meet you there.
Practice description
Who I Support in Supervision
I work with counsellors, psychotherapists and helping professionals who want supervision that goes deeper. You might be supporting clients affected by trauma, dissociation, or disordered eating and feeling the weight of that work. Or perhaps you're seeking a space to reflect on who you are becoming as a practitioner. Either way, you don't have to do it alone.
Supervision Grounded in Safety, Curiosity, and Care
My approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative. Drawing on over 20 years of mental health experience, deep training in trauma recovery, and a commitment to relational ethics, I aim to meet you where you are—whether you're newly qualified or long in the field—and help you build clarity, confidence, and clinical depth.
Our sessions are co-created, and you are at the heart of what forms all therapeutic relationships. Whatever feels alive in your work, the cases that stay with you, ethical tangles, what gets stirred in you, questions about who you're becoming as a therapist—you might arrive with specific situations or simply a felt sense of what needs space. We'll find our rhythm together.
You'll have space to slow down, think aloud, and be uncertain. Together, we'll explore not just what you're doing with clients but also how you're feeling, what's stirring, and where you want to go next. We'll draw on models when helpful, but more importantly, we'll stay connected to what matters most: you, the heart of the work.

Getting Started & First Session
Before we begin, I'll send you onboarding paperwork to co-create a clear working agreement. This covers practical elements (frequency, fees, cancellations) and relational aspects, including how we'll work together, boundaries, confidentiality, and how we'll navigate any difficulties that arise. This foundation protects you, me, and your clients.
Our initial sessions will help us identify what areas of growth and development matter most to you and how to best support you in supporting your clients. This collaborative approach ensures supervision is tailored to your specific needs and professional context.
Session frequency depends on your caseload complexity, what you're holding, and professional requirements. While ±«ÓãÊÓƵrequires a minimum of 1.5 hours monthly, those working with trauma, disordered eating and more complex presentations often benefit from fortnightly sessions for better containment. We'll review this regularly, adjusting to best support your needs.
