About me and my therapy practice
±«ÓãÊÓƵ
My name is Rachel, founder of The Interpersonal Space. I provide structured, evidence‑based clinical supervision for qualified practitioners seeking a reflective, steady space to deepen their therapeutic practice. Grounded in Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) and Person‑Centred principles, supervision offers a confidential, thoughtful environment to explore clinical work, enhance therapeutic effectiveness, and maintain high standards of ethical, relational practice.
As an IPT Supervisor and IPT Trainer, I support clinicians in developing clarity, confidence and clinical precision in their work. Supervision focuses on strengthening formulation skills, refining interpersonal hypotheses, supporting decision‑making, and ensuring safe, attuned practice with clients experiencing emotional distress, relational difficulties and complex presentations.
Many practitioners seek supervision when they want a more structured framework, a reliable space to think, or a collaborative relationship that supports professional growth. If you are looking for supervision that is calm, grounded and clinically robust, I offer a consistent space where your work can be explored in depth, with attention to both the interpersonal process and the wider therapeutic context.
Practice description
I provide structured, reflective clinical supervision for qualified practitioners working with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, grief, work‑related stress and life transitions.
Supervision begins with a focused assessment to clarify your supervisory needs, areas of development and the aspects of your clinical work you want to explore. Sessions then progress in a steady, collaborative way, offering space to examine your therapeutic process, decision‑making and interpersonal dynamics in depth.
My supervision approach is grounded in Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) and Person‑Centred principles. Together, we explore the emotional, relational and interpersonal patterns present in your client work, supporting you to strengthen formulation skills, refine therapeutic focus and maintain safe, attuned practice. The aim is to develop clarity, confidence and clinical effectiveness through thoughtful, evidence‑based supervision that supports meaningful professional growth.

About me and my therapy practice
My name is Rachel, founder of The Interpersonal Space. I provide confidential, evidence-based psychotherapy and counselling for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, grief, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties and emotional distress. Using Person-Centred Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), I offer a safe, compassionate space to explore your experiences, improve emotional wellbeing, build resilience, strengthen coping strategies and create meaningful, lasting change through tailored, professional mental health support.
I specialise in providing thoughtful, evidence‑based psychotherapy for individuals seeking a structured, reflective space to understand their emotional world more deeply. Qualified in Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) and Person-Centred Counselling, I also provide clinical supervision as an accredited IPT Supervisor and accredited IPT Trainer.
Many people reach out for therapy at moments when life feels heavy, confusing or simply too much to manage alone. If you’re finding yourself overwhelmed, stuck in familiar patterns, or struggling to make sense of your emotions or relationships, you don’t have to navigate it on your own. I offer a calm, steady space where you can talk openly and feel heard.
