Therapist - New Aberdour

New Aberdour AB43
07734328762
Sessions from £70.00

Features

Availability

My usual therapy office days are Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

I do take holiday breaks, and share these planned dates well ahead with clients.

About me and my therapy practice

You may have found me because something has happened, something that you do not know how to navigate alone. Or you may have been sitting with a feeling of discomfort for some time, just a feeling that something isn’t quite right, but a need to change things feels very necessary to you.

Whatever it is that you bring to our therapeutic space, it will be met with respect and understanding for your current feelings, and for those that are still influencing you from previous times. We can explore navigating those feelings together.

I offer therapy from an approach of compassionate accountability, allowing us to look at your situation together as we explore where your new direction may lie. I do not have a set pattern for therapeutic work, I listen with care to you, as my client, and we work with whatever is present for you. Everyone’s journey is different, and needs an individual approach, bringing in different thoughts and ideas.

Initially we will meet on ZOOM, for around twenty minutes, in order for us to explore what is needed, and for us both to get a sense of whether this is the right space for you at this time. There is no charge for this meeting.

Therapy can take place in person in Aberdeenshire, or online if you are elsewhere in the world. I work both internationally and locally, with a diverse range of clients. In person therapy may include walking and talking whilst in nature, or alongside horses with Equine Assisted Therapy, or maybe with a creative slant of writing, drawing or painting to explore thoughts. Creativity can also be incorporated into online work.

My preference is to start with weekly meetings, as we build our relationship, and to move to fortnightly or monthly meetings when you are ready to do so, or as you feel you have a secure base from which to explore more independently.
