Hello and welcome, I recognise that reaching out for therapy can be a daunting and often scary process, especially when we are feeling overwhelmed, lost, anxious and often frustrated and misunderstood.  We can all face life events that feel too big o鈥�

Although I work predominantly from a person-centred perspective, my approach is integrative, allowing flexibility to meet each client鈥檚 unique needs. As a forces veteran 鈥� and also a forces child (鈥減ads brat,鈥� if you know, you know) 鈥� I have lived ex鈥�

I understand that taking the first step to ask for help can be hard. I am able to offer a safe, non-judgemental space to explore and make sense of difficult feelings.   I believe forming a therapeutic alliance between a counsellor and client is centr鈥�

I don't believe therapy is about fixing people. Nor is it about finding quick answers or learning to simply cope better. Often, it is about developing a deeper understanding of yourself so that meaningful and lasting change becomes possible. Alongsid鈥�

I offer a collaborative, compassionate approach to counselling, drawing on both psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioural models. This means we鈥檒l explore the deeper roots of your emotional experience while also working with practical tools to help you鈥�

Good therapy is built on the relationship between client and therapist. I focus on listening to your story, your concerns and the self you want to share with me in order to offer you a non-judgemental and constructive space. I feel passionately about鈥�

As an experienced psychodynamic counsellor, I aim to establish a trusting rapport with you and provide you with a safe, confidential and compassionate space in which to explore your difficulties. I will work with you every step of the way to understa鈥�

I work one-to-one online with adults facing personal challenges such as: anxiety, stress or low mood; trauma or abuse; feeling 鈥渘ot good enough鈥� or struggling with self-esteem; loss or grief; menopause or parenting. Together we鈥檒l explore what鈥檚 trou鈥�
