Lifespan Experiences and Therapeutic Identity in Experienced Counsellors

Research Participants Needed – Experienced ±«ÓãÊÓƵCounsellors

I am currently undertaking my BA (Hons) in Integrative Counselling at Bath Spa University and am looking for fully qualified BACP-registered counsellors with a minimum of 10 years' professional counselling experience to take part in my undergraduate research project.

My research explores how counsellors with over ten years of professional experience make sense of how formative relational experiences across the lifespan have shaped their therapeutic identity and practice.

The aim of this study is to gain a deeper understanding of how experienced counsellors perceive the influence of their own relational experiences on their development as therapists and their work with clients.

Participation involves one confidential online semi-structured interview via Microsoft Teams lasting up to one hour. With your consent, the interview will be audio-recorded and transcribed for research purposes.

Participation is entirely voluntary, and all information will be anonymised, treated confidentially and stored securely in accordance with GDPR and the ±«ÓãÊÓƵEthical Guidelines for Research.

If more than four eligible participants express an interest, a random selection process will be used.

Successful participants will be provided with a Participant Information Sheet, Consent Form and further details before deciding whether they wish to take part.

If you meet the inclusion criteria and would like to express an interest in participating, please contact me using the details provided on this noticeboard. Thank you for taking the time to read my advertisement.

Your interest and support are greatly appreciated.
